The Raw Story | Government releases nearly all evidence in 9/11 conspirator sentencing

The Raw Story

Published: Tuesday August 1, 2006

A United States federal yesterday posted online nearly all of the evidence in the sentencing portion of the trial of convicted 9/11 conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui, RAW STORY has learned.

All totalled, just 7 of the 1,202 exhibits introduced in the case are now under seal. Among those are the voice recording from United Flight 93, which crashed before hitting its target, into a Pennsylvania field. A transcript of the tape, however, was released during the trial.

What has been released, according to sources, are photographs of victim remains, and other 9-1-1 calls. Videos are purported--though RAW STORY could not, as of the time of publication, verify--to show victims leaping from windows of the World Trade Center.

Due to a high volume of traffic, RAW STORY has been unable to review the tapes released. We plan to make the more relevant videos available through RAW STORY in the coming days.

We are able to make available, however, the full list of evidence released, complete with links to the files at the federal court's website. That list may be viewed here.
