Raytheon Gets $346M Missile Contract and Northrop Grumman Presents Annual Quality Awards to Outstanding Suppliers and Subcontractors

The order is the third installment of a multiyear contract which could be worth up to $1.6 billion. The fiscal 2006 production contract includes 473 missiles, including 65 submarine torpedo tube-launched type of Block IV Tomahawk. Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) today honored 38 suppliers and 19 subcontractors for consistently demonstrating excellence in product quality, on-time delivery, competitive pricing and other value-added services.

The S3 contract is a ten- year, $19.25 billion indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contracting vehicle with a base of five years and one five year option.
