ArmorGroup in $10bn USAF win
LONDON (SHARECAST) - A team headed by Bechtel and including security group ArmorGroup has been chosen for a contract with the US Air Force worth up to a possible $10bn in total.
Armor Group is one six sub-contrctors on the 10-year contract which will be worth, if fully completed, up to $10bn.
Armor added, though, that projected revenues for each prime contractor from this contract are undeterminable at this stage, due to the indefinite delivery and quantity nature of the agreement, and will depend on the specific work order. It expects to achieve a steady revenue stream over the period of the programme.
The company also announced it is buying Phoenix CP Limited, the UK's premium close protection training provider, for a total consideration of 4.25m.
