Terrorist Plot Foiled Without Invasion of Sovereign Nation - Bill Kristol Apoplectic
You've got to hand it to the Brits - they have been on their game since the Tubes were bombed in July of last year. Here's a bit about the plot they foiled (full Scotland Yard statement here):
We believe that the terrorists' aim was to smuggle explosives onto aeroplanes in hand luggage and to detonate these in flight. We also believe that the intended targets were flights from the United Kingdom to the United States of America.
We here at Agitprop commend the British police and security services on a job well done. We also note that this terror plot was foiled without invading Iran or Syria and without engaging Halliburton or KBR. No torture gulags were built. The terrorists were stopped without any nation commiting genocide, and no bombing of civilian populations was required. In fact, this terrorist plot was stopped without neocon assistance of any kind.
The British approach sure sounds like the better one - do you suppose the Dear Leader is paying attention?
